I have some exciting news to share – I’ve officially launched The Thyroid Pharmacist Healing Conversations Podcast! 🎉

If you’ve ever struggled with frustrating thyroid symptoms, felt lost in your healing journey, or wondered whether there was a better way to support your health, this podcast is for you.

Over the past decade, I’ve dedicated my life to understanding the root causes of Hashimoto’s — researching, experimenting, and finding what truly works. I’ve had the opportunity to vanquish all of my thyroid symptoms, get myself into remission with Hashimoto’s, and help many others find their way, too!

But along the way, I’ve been humbled by the deeper complexities of healing. My journey didn’t stop at thyroid health as a patient or as a health care professional.

As I started sharing what I learned about Hashimoto’s, people began asking me if I could help with migraines, IBS, acid reflux, PCOS, fibromyalgia, skin issues, asthma, additional autoimmune conditions…

I noticed that many of the things I was recommending for Hashimoto’s, often helped these other things…

After I had my son, my world changed, and I was faced with uncertainty in the postpartum period… At first it was lactation failure, then a Hashimoto’s flare-up, then “mom brain,” and then eventually perimenopause, premature ovarian insufficiency (POI), and subsequent fertility challenges.

Additionally, within my own family, my husband was diagnosed with iron overload and inflammatory bowel disease, while my sweet son had eczema that was beyond my ability to solve.

Each experience has deepened my knowledge, and more importantly, my empathy.

I’m an avid researcher, and I am always finding strategies on how to heal, but I don’t always have the answers. However, at this point in my career, I can usually “get by with a little help from my friends” — incredible colleagues, researchers, and practitioners who are also seeking truth in healing.

So I’m bringing this to life in a podcast. In solo episodes, I’ll share everything I’ve learned about Hashimoto’s, hypothyroidism, and regaining your vitality, from science-backed strategies to personal insights. I’ll also be inviting colleagues and connections to dive deeper into these complex health challenges, the thyroid nuances like metabolism, as well as various other health conditions like IBS, childhood developmental disorders, sleep apnea, fertility issues, and perimenopause. Together, we’ll be exploring solutions that help people reclaim their health.

This journey has taught me that healing isn’t linear, and it’s rarely one-size-fits-all. But the more we learn, the more we can empower ourselves and others. I can’t wait to share this with you!

Why I Decided to Start a Podcast

For years, I’ve been passionate about sharing the latest research, practical tips, and personal experiences around health, healing, and the root causes of chronic conditions. Through my books, in-depth articles, and social media, I’ve connected with an incredible community — but I knew there was something missing: deep, engaging conversations that go beyond surface-level information. That’s why I decided to start a podcast.

Creating a Space for Meaningful Conversations

While social media is great for quick tips and bite-sized insights, it doesn’t always allow for the kind of in-depth discussions that truly move the needle. Writing books and long-form articles has given me the opportunity to dive deep into research, but a podcast offers a platform where I can sit down with top experts, practitioners, and real people who’ve overcome health challenges — and explore the why behind healing strategies in a dynamic, real-time way.

Bringing Complex Topics to Life

So many health topics are either oversimplified or made unnecessarily complicated. With this podcast, I want to break down the science in a way that’s both accessible and actionable. Whether it’s thyroid health, gut healing, or the mind-body connection, I’m here to make it clear, relatable, and most importantly, useful.

I’ve spent years researching these topics, and writing about them in my books and articles, but a podcast allows for even more nuance and discussion; here, I can ask questions, challenge ideas, and uncover practical strategies in a conversational format.

Connecting on a More Personal Level

There’s something powerful about hearing someone’s voice, their energy, their passion — it makes information more engaging and impactful. While my books and articles provide structured knowledge, I want this podcast to feel like sitting down for a cup of tea with a friend — where we can talk openly about struggles, breakthroughs, and everything in between.

One of my biggest motivations is helping people feel seen, understood, and empowered. Whether you’re struggling with fatigue, autoimmunity, or digestive issues, I want this podcast to provide practical solutions and hope for your healing journey.
