The UK has allocated over 7 million GBP to support more than 120 projects aimed at enhancing productivity and efficiency in small businesses through artificial intelligence (AI) tools. This funding, provided by the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Technology Missions Fund via the Innovate UK BridgeAI programme, will enable the projects to test transformative AI technologies across high-growth sectors.
One notable project, Menopause Reality, leverages Generative AI and extended reality to raise awareness about menopause among healthcare professionals and in the workplace. The aim is to use AI to educate, stimulate discussion, challenge stigma, and foster understanding, ultimately creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for menopausal women.
