Fall is settling in, and winter isn’t far behind, which means it’s the perfect time to cozy up, reset, and get ahead before the holiday chaos kicks in.
Amazon Prime Day is here (October 7th-8th), and I’ve pulled together a curated list of my favorite Hashimoto’s-friendly products that are actually worth buying. These tools and wellness staples make healing feel more manageable, especially during the busier, colder months when energy can dip and stress can run high.
Life isn’t slowing down anytime soon, but one thing we can control is how we support ourselves from the inside out. Whether you’re working through adrenal fatigue, managing chronic symptoms, or just trying to feel more like yourself again, the small daily rituals really do add up – like a warm magnesium bath, a nutrient-rich soup, or a cozy environment.
Whether you’re:
- Planning ahead for holiday gifts
- Restocking your healing essentials
- Or just looking to simplify your life with a few tried-and-true wellness tools…
…this guide will help you save time, money, and energy.
Check out my favorite Prime Day picks for fall and winter wellness below, all selected with healing, simplicity, and comfort in mind.
(Please note that you must have an active Amazon Prime account to get access to these sale prices. If you’re not already a Prime member, they offer a free 30-day trial, so now would be the best time for it. :-))
Kitchen Essentials
Good nutrition is at the heart of feeling your best, especially when healing from Hashimoto’s. These are a few of my go-to kitchen staples that help make cooking at home simpler, healthier, and more sustainable day to day:
- Slow Cooker (Was $89.95 – Now $59.98!): The ultimate hands-off cooking tool to make cozy soups and stews all winter!
- Instant Pot (Was $109.99 – Now $64.99!): This is the simplest way to make bone broth, plus it offers a range of other features and settings that can save you time and effort. Some people prefer this to the slow cooker for soups and stews.
- Vitamix Blender (Was $629.95 – Now $369.95!): The Vitamix really is the best for blending up nutrient-dense, blood sugar-balancing smoothies and gut-healing soups. I use mine daily!
- Dutch Oven (Was $99.90 – Now $77.99!): This enameled cast iron dutch oven is perfect for slow-simmered stews, braises, and soups that warm you from the inside out. I love that they don’t use toxic non-stick coatings.
Mood, Sleep, and Stress Support
As the days get cooler and routines shift, a little extra support can go a long way. Focusing on rest, managing stress naturally, and building small, nourishing habits can make a big difference in how you feel this season. Here are a few cozy, supportive favorites to help you stay well and grounded:
- Light Therapy Device (Was $44.95 – Now $27.99!): This light therapy device has gotten me through many tough winters (learn more about blue light therapy in my vitamin D article). Simply turn it on in the morning while you’re getting ready, and reap the benefits like increased energy levels and a better mood. I consider this a winter essential. 🙂
- Sunrise Alarm Clock (Was $169.99 – Now $139.99): I love this sunrise alarm clock. The light gently starts to get brighter before it goes off, so it feels like sunshine through your windows. It has various alarm settings, including a peaceful bird chirping noise that I love waking up to. It definitely helps on dark mornings.
- Epsom Salts (Was $26.99 – Now $21.59!): For me, there’s nothing a good Epsom salt bath can’t fix. They help me relax and destress, help me sleep, soothe my nervous system, and help support detoxification (with gentle sweating). I especially love them in the winter! Epsom salt contains magnesium, an essential mineral that many are deficient in and that helps support our stress response (learn more about magnesium here). I love to stock up on bulk bags of Epsom salt when they’re on sale, so I’m never without them.
- Bath Bombs (Was $35.99 – Now $30.59!): Another fun and nourishing addition to a warm bath. These always lift my spirits! I love these ones especially as they are formulated with natural and organic ingredients, and without the use of dyes or synthetic fragrance. They also make great gifts!
- Tulsi Tea (Was $18.99 – Now $15.19!): Tulsi is an adaptogen known for its stress-supporting properties (you can learn more about my favorite adaptogens in this article). I love having a few cups of this daily, especially during stressful times. My tea cabinet is always stocked with tulsi tea!
- Four Sigmatic Calm Cacao (Was $25.73 – Now $21.85!): If I’m making hot chocolate with my son, I love to use this Four Sigmatic Calm Cacao mix. It contains reishi, so it’s also great for stress support and restful sleep. I love to mix it with warm coconut milk for an ultra-delicious treat. (P.S. You can also buy directly from their website and use code THYROID for 10% off your order!)
- Sleep Mask (Was $28.99 – Now $9.99!): Did you know that even tiny amounts of light while you’re sleeping can interfere with sleep quality? Sleep masks help block that extra light and ensure you’re getting the deepest, most restful sleep possible.
Stay Warm
Making sure your winter wardrobe is well-stocked can help you stay warm during colder months (as so many of us with Hashimoto’s struggle with getting warm). Here are a few of my favorites:
- Compression Socks (Was $19.99 – Now $15.99!): These socks are amazing! They’re compression socks, so they can help with leg cramps and circulation issues, and they’re made with merino wool, so they will help keep your cold feet warm.
- Fleece Gloves (Was $9.99 – Now $7.99!): If you’re in a cold climate, gloves are a must! These gloves are made of super cozy fleece and are water repellent – and you can still use your phone with them on.
- Weighted Blanket: I love a good weighted blanket! They can help support deep sleep, alleviate stress and anxiety, and of course keep you warm. When looking for a weighted blanket, I look for natural materials like cotton or bamboo, and I recommend finding one that is no more than 10-15 percent of your body weight. If you’re looking for a blanket to sleep with, the Oeko-Tex certified cotton blanket (Was $79.99 – Now $67.99!) is a good option, as is this bamboo blanket (Was $69.99 – Now $49.99!).
- Warm Layers: If I learned anything living through Chicago and Colorado winters, it’s using LAYERS! Layering is key for staying warm, whether you’re hanging around the house, but especially if you’re spending any amount of time outside in the elements. I highly suggest investing in a good base layer made of merino wool, like these merino wool leggings (Was $84.99 – Now $47.96!). These leggings are essential if you’ll be hiking, skiing, walking, or running in winter weather. They’re also great to wear under jeans or another pair of leggings for added warmth.
Non-Toxic Living Tools
Toxins and endocrine disruptors can be found in so many of our everyday products, and they can worsen Hashimoto’s. I suggest gradually swapping out your products for less toxic versions.
- AirDoctor Air Filter (Was $409 – Now $326): Did you know that the air quality within your home can often be more problematic than the air outside? Toxins and pollutants in the air can become concentrated indoors, meaning we’re breathing in that air all day long! Especially in the winter, when we typically spend more time inside. I always recommend that people use an air filter, and AirDoctor is one of my favorites because it’s so effective! (P.S. You can also buy directly from their website using my special link!)
- Clearly Filtered Water Filter (Was $100 – Now $79.98!): Our water is another place where endocrine-disrupting toxins can be lurking. I recommend using a water filter that can remove contaminants and fluoride, for your most thyroid-friendly water. (P.S. AquaTru’s countertop reverse-osmosis filter is my top recommendation. They’re not currently on sale for Prime Day, but you can save $100 when you use my link!)
- Glass Tupperware Set (Was $49.99 – Now $37.99): You’ll need somewhere to store all the delicious food you’ll be making, and I highly recommend you store it in glass and avoid the toxins found in plastic containers. Mason jars also work really well!
- Branch Basics Home Cleaners (Was $75 – Now $60!): Most conventional cleaning products contain toxins and endocrine-disrupting chemicals, so I recommend switching to non-toxic versions of these. This starter kit from Branch Basics is a great swap to make for a cleaner, healthier home. (P.S. You can also buy directly from their website and use code IZABELLAWENTZ for 15% off all Starter Kits!)
- Castor Oil (Was $21.39 — Now $14.59!): A versatile staple in many non-toxic medicine cabinets, castor oil aids in detoxification, helps with gut health, promotes lymphatic drainage, and even supports relaxation (you can learn more about the benefits of castor oil and how to make a castor oil pack in my article). Be sure to choose a cold-pressed, hexane-free version for the cleanest option, like the one I linked.
Winter Reading for Your Healing
My books may be on sale, too! I don’t set the prices, but Amazon or our publisher might apply a discount during the Prime Day event, so it’s worth checking in throughout the sale. I’ll share any updates on social media if I spot a price drop!
- Preorder IBS: Finding and Treating the Root Cause of Irritable Bowel Syndrome: In case you haven’t heard, my new book is currently available for preorder. If you experience digestive issues, have an autoimmune disorder, or have been told you have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), this is a must-read. (This one won’t be discounted for Prime Day, as it won’t be released until March 17th, 2026, but I wanted to share it with you in case you hadn’t heard about it yet. :-))
- Hashimoto’s: The Root Cause: This is my first book, where I dive deep into the multiple root causes of Hashimoto’s and what you can do about them. A must-read if you or anyone you know has Hashimoto’s.
- Hashimoto’s Food Pharmacology: Diet plays a large role in supporting the thyroid and autoimmunity. This book lays out several different healing diet options, and over 100 delicious gluten-, dairy-, and soy-free recipes to help you on your journey. It’s currently on sale (reg. $32.99)!
- Adrenal Transformation Protocol: The essential guide for anyone currently experiencing or who has recently experienced chronic stress, anyone who knows they have adrenal issues, or anyone who has persistent thyroid symptoms despite medication and lifestyle interventions (your adrenals may be struggling!). It’s currently on sale (reg. $30.00)!
These tools are all about making it easier to reduce stress and support healing from the comfort of home, just in time for the cozy months ahead. Prime Day deals are only here for a short time (October 7th-8th), so if you’ve been waiting for the right moment to stock up or invest in your wellness, now’s the perfect time.
Wishing you health, energy, and savings!
