    Bought this for my cat to scratch
    Overall, very pleased with the rug. I needed it to cover the floor to prevent my elderly dogs from slipping on the hardwood + give my cat something to scratch, ie I bought it not expecting to own it for a long time. It does the job and it’s not super ugly.At first, we were frustrated with it bubbling up like in other reviews but with time, a little bit of stretching, and a rug pad, the rug fibers relaxed and it laid flat. Once the fibers relaxed, it measured true to size of 6’ round. We saved a little bit of money by buying a 5’ rug pad and it works fine.I deducted a star for two reasons:1. Since it is a natural fiber I expected some imperfection but this rug has a lot. Dark bits, fraying, and frizzing. If I had bought this purely for home decor I would be disappointed2. Very hard to clean. My dog pooped on it and it squeezed into every nook and cranny. I used enzymatic cleaner and a q-tip to get the bulk of it but ended up wet vac-ing, which help, but the brush of the wet vac caused the rug to fray and frizz even more. I finally used a bleach solution since a stain remained. I have a cream rug but I would rather have a slight bleach stain than a brown one.

    The smell is AWFUL and doesn’t go away
    Buyer beware – mildewed rug that smells up your whole house and absolutely ZERO customer service from NuLoom.Shipping was super fast and the rug arrived in 2 days. We opened it immediately and were overwhelmed by the smell of mildew. The rug seemed reasonably dry as we rolled it off the cardboard tube, but the tube was wet and disintegrated as we pulled the rug away. We hoped it would air out and that the smell was mostly from the nasty carboard tube. We hung it in a spare room, cracked a window, and placed fans blowing on the rug to air it out. After a week, it smelled even worse and we started noticing the smell in the hallway outside the room. We read the instructions on their website for addressing odor and per their directions put it outside in the sunlight to air out, bringing it back in at night. We gave up after few days and threw it in the garage and emailed customer service to request a return label and a refund. No reply, but after nearly 2 weeks of sitting in the garage – one week where it was below freezing the whole time, the rug FINALLY doesn’t smell too strongly. We brought it back inside and put baking soda on it (also recommended on the website) then vacuumed it off. Will repeat a few times and hope for the best since it looks like we are stuck with this thing. 23 days after delivery and it finally smells okay enough to risk bringing it inside.The quality is just okay, not as nice as our first NuLoom which was a thicker weave – we LOVED our first rug, had it for years and only replaced it due to a friend’s dog chewing off an entire corner. This one has chunks of wood woven in that we had to pull out – which left loose stitching areas. The seams are also jagged and only look good on one side, so it won’t be reversible.

    Absolutely Perfect!
    This is my 2nd time purchasing this item & once again it’s perfect! I had previously bought one in 2020 that I have used constantly in a high traffic area. When I say high traffic I mean the first entry into the home with dirty & sometimes wet shoes or boots landing on it. We have seriously beat the hell out of it & it’s still in good shape but showing signs of wear. The old one will be used elsewhere but I wanted to freshen the area up. It was delivered earlier than expected, wrapped perfectly & the only smell is a grassy jute smell. Zero mildew. Perfect & very happy that I was still able to purchase this rug from this manufacturer again.

    Great buy!
    I received the 4ft round navy rug today. It came just as pictured and it’s in great condition. I was worried after I ordered seeing some reviews of rips/holes and odor. My rug came perfectly fine! It’s made well, especially for the price. It laid flat rather quickly even though it was rolled up very tightly. I’d definitely order more if needed. I’m using it under a small dining table and it’s the perfect thickness and seems like it’ll be functional in this space. It’s surprisingly soft on the feet. Would recommend for many types of spaces. Looks really good in my dining room.

    Si me gusto mucho, solo fue muy difícil que llegara debido a la triangulación de la info entre Amazon, el proveedor y la empresa transportadora. Amazon me daba información retrasada y cómo era un proveedor externo lo que me daba como solución era cancelarlo, llame varias veces y al final me atendió una chica (Maria de Amazon) y ella me proporciono información real y en tiempo de lo que sucedía y así puede contactar a la compañía de transporte.Bueno pero valió la pena, él tapete es muy bonito 👌🏻La calidad, tamaño, cumplen con lo esperado.

    Unfortunately as Amazon defaults to showing those reviews which are allegedly ‘most relevant’ rather than most recent ones, like other customers I was scared to buy this rug from the seller. Well Im glad I did.It arrived more swiftly than expected, dry, clean, sweet smelling and with no discernible creases at all, which considering its made the trip all the way from India was quite astonishing. The colour is lovely – sandy golden not orange, and no more stripey looking than expected. It’s smooth and soft rather than rough to the touch and the dogs are quite happy to lie on it ( Salukis usually like their comforts and won’t lie on a hard uncomfortable surface) so Id say its as good as Id hoped. It looks handmade and immediately felt like it had always been there. Cleaning is the only issue I foresee…this is a problem where ALL jute products are concerned, and is something you have to bear in mind.

    Die Lieferung ging zügig innerhalb von 2 Tagen. Der Teppich kam gerollt, gut in Folie verpackt.Er verbreitet einen angenehmen Geruch nach Jute. Nicht feucht oder stinkig, wie in anderen Rezensionen zu lesen.Wie auf dem einen Foto zu sehen gibt es abstehende Fasern, auf unserem Teppich so an 3-4 Stellen. Ich werde diese abschneiden. Stellt für mich keinen Qualitätsmangel dar, da es sich hier ja um ein Naturprodukt handelt.Die Farbe des Teppichs ist superschön.Wie lange er als stark frequentierter Esszimmerteppich schafft, bleibt abzuwarten. Aktuell sind wir sehr happy mit dem Teppich. Der Essbereich wirkt nun gleich viel gemütlicher.
