The CPD deadline day for dentists is near – catch up now!

Calling all dentists! With just days left to complete your CPD cycle, now is the time to ensure you meet the requirements and stay compliant.

The annual renewal period is currently open for dentists, meaning it’s time to renew your registration and make your CPD and indemnity declarations.

The General Dental Council (GDC) requires dentists to complete at least 100 hours of verifiable CPD over a five-year cycle. In addition, at least 10 hours of CPD must be completed every two years to ensure it is spread across the five-year cycle.

Stay compliant:

• Pay the ARF (Annual Retention Fee) by 31 December
• Make an indemnity declaration by 31 December
• Complete the required amount of CPD by 31 December (including at least 10 CPD hours within the last two years)
• Submit your CPD statement by 28 January.
