During the ISH 2024 Scientific Meeting in Cartagena, Colombia on 22 September, Bryan Williams, ISH President 2022-2024, and Dagnovar Aristizabal, ISH2024 Chairman, signed the Cartagena Declaration – a call to action to improve adherence to antihypertensive medications across the world. The declaration highlights the establishment of a World Adherence Day which will place focus on the importance of adherence to treatments that prevent disease. The date of this first dedicated day will be 27th March 2025.
