Lovely antiqued look, fairly sturcy hooks.
I picked this 6 hook set up to use for towel hooks in our bathroom with additional hooks to use else where for coat hanging. I live in a 100 year old house and keeping with the antique vibes is important to me so I was thrilled with these. Good quality fairly heavy duty hooks which came with mounting hardware. These are cast metal with a bronzed finish which has that nice vintage appeal I was looking for. These are nicely manufactured and look great and are sturdy enough for our wet towels and winter coats. At the present price of $35.99 for 6, that feels a bit steep but does seem to be with in fair market value.

Solid hooks and look great
Easy to install and look the part, build quality is very good, no fear of them yielding with some heavy items. The finish treatment gives them an antique aesthetic. Very pleased with these.

Great hook, but be sure to grab some better drywall anchors
These look great and definitely match an era of brass work, so they fit in well if you are doing restoration and want something more period. They are very solid and should hold up well. If you are screwing these directly into wood or are on a stud they will work great, but if you are going right into drywall I highly recommend getting a different tyle of anchor since the ones it comes with will pull out if you hand too much clothing or heaving coats on the hooks.

My Bathroom’s New Six-Pack Abs (Almost)
I’ve been on a quest for the perfect towel hook. Not just a towel hook, mind you, but the holy grail of towel hooks. Something that could handle the damp, the heavy, the unruly terrycloth behemoths produced by my family after a particularly rigorous shower. Something… sexy.Enter these “6 Pack Matte Black Towel Hooks.” The description promised matte black, heavy duty, and a beautiful etched design. I envisioned a sleek, brooding, all-black ninja of a towel hook, ready to silently grapple with even the fluffiest of bath towels.Reality, as it often does, fell slightly short of the fantasy. While “heavy duty” they certainly are (my kids haven’t managed to rip them off the wall yet, a testament to their surprising strength), the “matte black” is more of a… sophisticated, brooding satin black. Think James Bond’s tuxedo, not Darth Vader’s helmet. It’s less “tough guy” and more “smoldering sophisticate.” I’m not complaining. In fact, I’m rather charmed. The etched design on the round base is indeed beautiful, adding a touch of elegance that makes my bathroom look less like a wrestling arena and more like… well, a slightly damp wrestling arena with a surprisingly stylish towel situation.Lightweight these are too, which is a bonus – my landlord won’t need to reinforce the walls to accommodate their presence. This is especially useful for my perpetually clumsy attempts at DIY projects. (Let’s just say I’m not exactly a Michelangelo with a drill.)So, are these the perfect towel hooks? Almost. Minus a minor discrepancy in the finish (satin, not matte – but honestly, who’s checking?), they are surprisingly sturdy, beautifully designed, and a fantastic improvement over the sad, chipped plastic hooks that preceded them. They’ve given my bathroom a subtle upgrade; a six-pack of understated, yet undeniably attractive, towel-holding muscle. Five out of five stars! I’d recommend them to anyone looking to improve their bathroom’s ab game. Just maybe don’t expect them to be fully matte. Unless, of course, you like your bathroom accessories with a touch of suave.

Decent Hook with a Nice Design
This hook is decent quality and comes in a multipack with everything you need to mount. The hooks are a decent size a good design. I didn’t like that the hooks are two pieces, held together with a screw in the back. Over time, I believe that screw would fail, instead of it being a one piece cast.

Works Great
This pack of hooks is great. I love that it came with 6. I used one on my bathroom door to hang towels, & five by my front door to hang coats. The base of it feels like metal while the hook part feels like a hard plastic. Seems durable. Was able to install easily. I drilled the screws into the bathroom door, but used a bit to make holes in the wall for the anchors before placing the screws. So far, nothing has ripped them out so I’m happy. They seem sturdy & are staying in place. Works great. It looks modern & sleek. Matches all of the other black I have in my house which is nice. Great size, doesn’t stick out too much. I think it’s a good amount of hooks for the price.

Impressive hooks!
I am impressed with the quality of these hooks. We are redoing a bathroom and there is a small slim closet that I wanted to hang large hooks inside that robes and towels could be stored. The size of the hooks are perfect even for bath towels. They are very sturdy and do not sag or bend underneath damp towels. We ended up using all six of them spaced about 3” apart. That way we can drape large bath sheets on them as well. The antiqued look is well done, and the decorative base adds a touch of classOur builder had these up in a jiffy, so there were no problems with the hardware included. These are not cheap junk but functional and beautiful hardware. They’d even look great mounted onto natural wood and used as a coat rack in an entry way or mud-room.

Love the design but the material is light like plastic
I ordered these matte black towel hooks for my bathroom. First I love the design and the size of the hooks which was the main reason I ordered these. The matte black is the perfect coating and looks perfect for what I want. I was a bit disappointed in the sturdinrss though. The material feels like a light weight plastic which I was expecting a heavier metal. That unfortunately is not what it appears. I am on the fence on my review. I’ve rounded my rating up to the nearest whole number but as if now I really feel it is a 3.75. I haven’t installed yet as we are waiting to paint. I will update my review after full installation and use. I hope they’re sturdier than they feel.
