Clean and Regular again! Plus usage hints…
This product does the trick as far as regularity and BM consistency is concerned. I use 2 heaping Teaspoons per day. Everything is clean on the back end now 😉 I am purchasing again. So far this is the best price I can find for organic version of a psyllium product. I would say before you sink money into prescriptions or probiotics and post-biotics, try this. 1 container lasts me just over a month. You will save money on toilet paper for sure.Static issue? I 1st purchased the 365 organic psyllium for Whole Paycheck. I kept the container which is cardboard and I just pour this NOW product into it because the opening is larger on the 365 container. The husks have been cooperating with this process and no static to report.Difficult to drink issue? Look people, just use one of those personal blenders and add some fruit and perhaps a few other good items. Here is my concoction: water, banana, psyllium husks, cacao powder, a bit more water… blend briefly… drink it down. Use a little water in the empty container, put lid back on and shake it up to clean.. drink that. Then wash the container and lid… ready for the next day. Easy Peasy!

Better than 365 brand
I don’t know if it’s because this is organic, or they’re sourcing their psyllium from different plants, but this stuff is superior to Whole Foods brand. It works faster, and I have a clean “scrubbed” feeling inside that I’ve never had before. It could be prolonged use of psyllium…maybe. My whole childhood was constipated, and because of this stuff I’m healthy, never bloated anymore (I’m 42/f). Anytime I get a hankering for fast or processed food, I always chase it down with 1/4 cup WPH, and it moves it right along, diminishes putrefaction and therefore bloating as well. This is definitely one of keys to having a flat stomach—minimize putrefaction in the gut. And NOW psyllium does just that. Will purchase again.

Let’s compare this product against Organic India brand Organic Whole Husk Psyllium
Both products contain 12 ounces of high quality psyllium husk powder. Psyllium has been shown in scientific studies to be moderately beneficial to our overall health (the prevention of heart disease, several cancers, etc.) and extremely beneficial to our bowel health (the prevention and treatment of constipation).Both products claim to be certified organic.The Organic India brand Organic Whole Husk Psyllium was once priced exactly the same as this product, the NOW Foods Organic Whole Psyllium Husks, but is now priced somewhat higher than this product. Both products sold for about $7.00 more than 2 years ago but both products are now selling for about $9.00 today.The other product, Organic India brand, contains pure white psyllium husk powder that looks like it’s high in quality because it’s coarser (slightly more granulated) than the fine, dull-colored, psyllium husk powder inside of psyllium husk capsules. This product, the NOW Foods brand, contains the same, higher quality, coarser psyllium husk powder but with many brown-colored inclusions. Some people might prefer the pure white color of the contents of the Organic India brand over the brown inclusion-containing contents of the NOW Foods brand.The most important difference between the other product and this product is the container. The canister that is supplied with the other product, the Organic India brand, is a joy to use. It is much better than the giant, milky-white, plastic container that is supplied with this product, the NOW Foods brand. The worst thing about the giant, milky-white, plastic container that is supplied with this product is that it comes with a static charge of static electricity. All kinds of dust, including psyllium powder dust, will cling to the outside of this product’s container as if by magic. To greatly weaken this annoying static charge, wash this product with water under your kitchen sink, then wipe it dry with a paper towel. Be careful not to accidentally let any water get inside of this product’s container when doing this. This method worked well for me in the past.

Relief
It took 3 days but finally I am pooping!! Metamucil does not work at all!! It just makes me bloated! And makes me comfortable. I now am regular. I actually poop more than once a day now. What A relief.. so of you have issues.. please try this! You will thank me.

Great product!
This is a great product. I add it to my protein shakes in my blender bottle for a fiber boost.in my drinks. It is a little grainy in the mixture but not enough to bother me personally (which something like that normally would). It does jump out of the bottle though and I haven’t quite figured out how to make it stop. Losing a little product because of that but otherwise good.Update: So I had to come back and update my review & change from 4 stars to 5! After being lazy and trying some other brands of what I thought would be the same as this product, I came back to Amazon and ordered another bottle of this great stuff. I couldn’t tell you what the difference is between this and the others I tried other than the fact that this works SO much better! It did still jump out at me upon opening but I found that putting the bottle in the refrigerator upon opening helps a lot with that! Overall I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with regularity problems or if you just need more fiber. (Just drink it quickly or it will thicken).

Excellent Product
Just what I was looking for. This is whole seed husk which is the best form of fiber you can take, better than Metamucil as that can get caught in the pockets of your gut lining easier than this.I have been taking this for many years. I also add it to my smoothies, or sprinkle on a salad with my ground Flaxseed. Everyone needs this, including those of you that deal with constipation; take this and drink plenty of water daily and you should not be constipated. I used to work at a Health Store etc. I always had happy customers when I suggested this.
