I Didn’t Even Used to Drink Tea Regularly…………Until I Came Across This Numi Organic Aged Earl Grey Black Tea!!
Initially, I got this Numi Organic Aged Earl Grey Black Tea for my mom, for when she drinks tea, in an effort to get her to eat (and drink) as organic & healthy as much as possible. The fact that it is also “Fair Trade Certified” and made with non-GMO, biodegradable filter-paper tea bags, rather than the plastic or GMO-material tea bags of other tea companies and the tea bags come in a cardboard/paper box that is completely recyclable or compostable, was an added bonus. On top of that, the fact that the employees at the Numi tea estate in Assam, India also get a fair livable wage, decent housing, medical care, and education, as well as a plot of land for their own use (like to raise crops for personal use and/or for sale) was just the “icing on the cake” (so to speak!)When I first got this tea, it was mainly my mom (and occasionally my brother) who had it. Because I wasn’t much of a tea-drinker (or coffee-drinker, for that matter, either). In fact until the past few years, I wasn’t/hadn’t been much of a hot beverage drinker in general (instead, usually just cold drinks like sparkling water, soda [before I went organic/healthy], lemonade, punch, apple juice/cider [again, before going organic/healthy], etc.)Then awhile back, I started getting into an LCHF (low-carb, high fat)/ketogenic-type diet, including “Bulletproof Butter Coffee” (originally started by Tibetan Buddhist monks, and recently popularized by Dave Asprey) and started drinking coffee more often — though still NOT on a daily basis (like most who follow the “Bulletproof” plan), because of the general aversion I had to hot beverages for most of my life (until recently).Meanwhile, I had started getting this Numi Organic Aged Earl Grey Black Tea for my mother, and occasionally my brother (who also follows the “Bulletproof Coffee” plan — but in his case, he DOES drink coffee pretty much daily) to replace the Lipton, and other conventional teas, full of pesticides (and other junk) and made using toxic plastics or GMO-material tea bags. Since I wasn’t a big tea/hot beverage drinker, initially I never bothered to try this tea myself instead only having coffee, or occasionally hot chocolate, otherwise only cold drinks. Then one day, I wanted something other than anything I usually had, so I tried this tea………..and I’m so glad I did, because its wonderful. Like I said, I wasn’t a regular tea drinker until I found this tea — and now I drink it on a daily, or nearly daily basis. In fact, even with reusing the tea-bags (because we are able to get 2, sometimes even 3 cups of tea out of each tea bag!), we still go through so much of the tea that, now, instead of buying this 18 count box of tea bags, I instead buy it in THIS 100 Count bulk case through “Subscribe & Save”!Because, seriously, I ♡ this tea. It is literally a MILLION times better than Lipton (or other non-organic conventional) teas. In fact, THIS is one of the best black teas I’ve ever had. One can definitely taste the citrus-y hint of bergamot, but its not overwhelming — and rather a very balanced flavor! Also, though Numi Organic Aged Earl Grey Black Tea is caffeinated, that is not a downside to me, because I actually NEED the caffeine. Due to certain chronic medical conditions and then the side effects/adverse reactions from the so-called “treatment” (Thanks, Big pHARMa meds & vaccines! 😡 ) I’ve got a lot of sleep problems, and am never (or very rarely) able to fall asleep at night. Even if/when I do, I either wake up constantly throughout and at best, am only able to sleep in 2-3 hour snatches — OR I’m plagued by horrible nightmares, waking up sweating, panting for breath and/or in tears. As a result, my sleep & schedule is totally messed up. Take last night as one example, I couldn’t fall asleep until like 6:30 this morning, and then I woke up sometime around 8:15, then again at 10:30, before finally waking for good (well relatively!) by 11:45. Now its 3pm and I’m already starting to feel drowsy — though this is helping a bit — hopefully long enough to be able to stay awake until a reasonable time tonight to go to bed. What I really like (even LOVE) about this Numi Organic Tea is that it has enough caffeine to wake me up/keep me awake for a decent amount of time, but yet without the jitters & heartburn that I sometimes get from coffee — especially strong(er) coffee. I HIGHLY recommend this tea. It is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS — and that’s coming from someone who only had a cup of tea once or twice a year (if even that!) until a few months ago!!★☆★☆★ 5 STARS!!!!

Good Value and Exceptional Flavor
I tend to favor loose leaf tea, but this is one of my favorite bagged teas. The aged assam tea makes a great base for the added bergamot flavor. It tastes smooth and deep, without the astringency of some Earl Grey varieties. It’s high in caffeine, perfect for a breakfast tea to get you going!

Great Tasting with Anazing Health Benefits
Numi Organic Aged Earl Grey Tea offers a flavorful and aromatic experience with its blend of black tea and bergamot orange. The aging process enhances the tea’s depth, delivering a smooth, balanced taste with citrusy notes. Along with its delightful flavor, this tea offers potential health benefits. Regular consumption may help lower blood pressure, reduce anxiety, improve energy levels, and combat oxidative stress, thanks to the powerful antioxidants in both black tea and bergamot. This caffeinated tea provides a refreshing boost while supporting overall well-being. It’s a great choice for both tea enthusiasts and health-conscious drinkers alike.

Small bags, but great tea!
I had found these Numi Aged Earl Grey tea bags in a discount grocery store first, and loved them, so naturally I went to Amazon to find more. These in the 100 pack were always too high for me to buy, for the convenience until recently. They are still high in price compared to many other teas, but then again, these are special and not your average tea. So I bought a box, and they come loose, in their individual foil wrapped packages, in a regular cardboard box, with Numi markings on it. They are fresh too, dated 3/27 expiry date on one label on the outside of the cardboard box.The trouble is, the quantity of tea in a single tea bag is very small, so you use more, and then it negates the price savings you thought you were getting. Of course, if you don’t like strong tea, and are satisfied with a lighter brew, then you will be happier about that. For my money, I will buy the bulk package from now on, and fill my own tea bags, with how much I prefer for strength of flavor. If it is in stock, that is, which is why I decided to buy the 100 bag lot instead this time. But the individual ones are of course, more convenient when you don’t want to take the time and little effort of rolling your own.Anyway, great tea, but on the expensive side. Though, great for a treat once in a while!

I love this Citrus tasting Earl Grey Tea. It is hard to find in the store so I am glad to find on Amazon! The cost is not bad. It is Caffeine.

Impressed with this product, although expensive we feel it’s worth it

The best early grey I have ever tried anywhere in the world. What make this best is that this is aged with actual bergamot which gives is a very natural taste unlike other teas which have bergamot oil/ essence. The price is also good for this particular packing.

The flavor of this tea bag is the best I’ve had. I’m a big tea drinker and usually brew high quality loose leaf. I usually hate tea bags because they get too dark and bitter and sometimes muddy. But this one just feels like a nice freshly brewed tea with a nice flavor and aroma. Highly recommend! It’s a bit pricey compared to other tea bags but you get what you pay for! It’s totally worth it.

These Tea Bags are very nice indeed. I don’t like most Earl Grey tea since the bergamot oil also seems over-whelming to me and the tea is very weak. This blend with Assam gives the tea a much more robust flavour and the organic bergamot gives a more delicate aromatic flavour that adds but does not overpower the tea. It is also true bergamot and not a chemically synthesised “natural” flavour. They are not cheap but this box of 100 bags is a more economical way to buy them. I am a bit OCD and so I always count the contents when buying stuff like this, and my box only contained 89 bags! I am sure Amazon will resolve this problem for me promptly, but beware and make sure you count the bags in your box to make sure you get the full 100 bags.

This even shouldn’t be something that needs to be mentioned, but because of the previous customers being shortchanged, I went out of my way to count the bags. I even went as far as record myself opening the box and counting the bags individually, just in case. For some reason I feel lucky, where I should be totally in my right to expect 100 bags. Oh yea, taste is fine; organic tea leaves, and organic, real bergamot, good stuff.
