   This is a very aromatic and flavorful spice. I love the cuisine that comes from this region, and two of my favorite dishes are masalas and butter chicken. It does take quite a few different spices to make a good garam masala mix though so to be able to buy it at such a great price and it be well blended, fresh and quick to receive is just the better option. The bag it comes in can easily be closed by zipping it back up and stored for later use.A little goes a long way here so I seperate it into multiple food saver bags and vacuum save then freeze. This is a great spice ot keep in your home to put the sauce in rotation, you can do so much with it as a spice for your sauce, your meat, a marinade, a nice sprinkle in other dishes. Its a great spice to keep on hand

   Balanced blend with lots of flavor!
   For me this is a perfect blend. I personally like putting garam masala on my vanilla greek yogurt and bananas for breakfast every morning and this tastes perfect! A little bit goes a long way for sure. The resealable bag is a plus but I typically always transfer my spices to jars just to keep them fresher longer. This is a great blend and can definitely be used in a lot of ways. I can’t wait to put it in some cookies!

   Fresh and fragrant spice blend
   This is a great garam masala with simple, natural ingredients. It features the standard garam masala blend of black pepper, cumin, fenugreek, fennel, clove, red chili, cinnamon, and coriander. While the brand is called “Organic Zing,” it’s worth noting that this product is not actually organic, and there’s no organic certification. My bag was very fresh, packed in March of 2024, just a few months before I received it. The garam masala has a fresh taste and aroma and is better than the typical budget garam masala I’m used to. Overall, it’s a great garam masala blend; I just wish it were organically certified.

   Excellent spice.
   This spice came in a resealable pouch with no air inside. It smells fresh. It’s only a 100 grams, but it’s not expensive and it only takes two or three tablespoons for a dish. We made chicken tikka masala, which was excellent. So, we recommend this, and would buy it again.

   Fresh, quality, aromatic and filled to the top!
   Very happy with this Organic Zing Garam Masala! I was immediately impressed that the package (well sealed and tight) came filled to the top and not full of air. Before I opened it I read the label and liked that they included information about the company (all female staff) and their pride shows in the product they put out.It’s fresh and smells so good – smells ‘bright’ and flavorful. I’m doing more Indian cooking now than ever before, and previously I attempted my own versions of a similar Garam Masala mix, but this one beats my pathetic version out of the water. So happy with this spice and brand – no cons that I can find at all.

   This Organic Zing brand Garam Masala spice is pungent and fresh, with a good expiration date. I appreciate that they give suggestions (in the vendor pictures) for ways to use it in addition to the traditional recipes. This spice blend is more versatile than I knew.I see “organic” as a round label printed on the package, but it’s not clear what, if any, agency certifies that. There are also round labels saying “premium quality” and “farm fresh” More text says its “vegan” with “no preservatives, additives, and artificial colors,” all good qualities I look for. They do actually show their FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) license number, which is required for any food business in India that manufactures, stores, transports, or distributes food. They also provide an international customer support phone number.I love to support companies that say specifically that they are “women owned,” however, the wording is a little different here, when they say “we are proud to have a complete WOMEN STAFF” (their capitalization.) I think “staff” means that the people who do the work growing and harvesting the spices are all women.It doesn’t appear that we are buying the spices directly from this group of women because the seller on Amazon is shown to be shoprythm. It is also disclosed that the packager and marketer is a company called “LINKERS” (which doesn’t appear to be women owned.) Maybe Organic Zing hires them to do the marketing or maybe they actually sell the product to them as a first intermediary; it’s not clear to me. So I can only hope that the women who are doing the work make a fair profit even though this product may pass through other hands. I believe it is important for women to actually own the companies that sell and profit from the products of their labor.

   Great taste
   This organic garam masala seasoning tastes yum. The herbs and spices are fresh and aromatic. I used it to make a saute dish with plant ground, onions, 3 different colored bell peppers and wild long grain brown rice. I also used this to season my sauteed yellow squash and zucchini. Yum. It flavors everything beautifully. I like that the bag is sealed with a ziplock so the seasoning will remain fresh. It’s finely ground so it blends really well into the different dishes I make. High quality organic ingredients. It’s one heck of a value for the asking, in fact it’s a steal.

    This is a lovely spice blend that smells delightful and tastes better. I am unable to test its organic claims, and I only hope there is no filler included that I would prefer not to devour. You get an amazing amount for the price so it is great value, too.

I also appreciated the resealable pouch.What I really appreciate is that it is preservative-free, vegan, and crafted from organic ingredients. The freshness shines through, making it a fantastic addition to curries, lentils, and even roasted veggies. If you are seeking a genuine, high quality garam masala, this option is highly recommended.
