Each single weight can be adjusted from 1 to 5 lbs and one pair weights can be adjusted from 2 to 10 lbs by adding or reducing the sandbags. If the whole weights is too heavy for you, you can reduce one or two sandbags out of the pockets

    These ankle weights are a great value for the price! They’re comfortable to wear, and the fit is secure without being too tight or bulky.     Easy and effective
    I love the added work these require during workouts! I love that you can adjust the total weight and it is easy to remove and/or add. The only hiccup I have, is getting them to stay put. They are bulkier for my ankles and wearing them on my wrists is a no go. They slide and bounce around if I power walk or run stairs.

    Like other ankle weights you will also struggle to keep these from sliding down if you have small ankles. Otherwise, very nice product. Weights can come out and go back in easy enough. Quality excellent.

    Changing weights was more difficult than it needs to be
    I am going to leave my original review as I still believe a design change would make this product more user friendly, but I do want to compliment the seller as, after they read my review, they offered me a full refund because I had difficulties using their product. I consider this the sign of an ethical, caring business. They proved they are a great company.Original review: I bought these because I liked the idea that I could change how much they weighed, and the videos made it look like the weight bags were easy to remove and put back in, but I admit I really struggled to remove the bags. Ended up using a pair of pliers to grab hold of them which enabled me to finally get the tops of the bags out of the slots. Since I wanted to start with three pounds in both, I had to get 4 of the bags out. Out of curiosity, I did make an attempt to put one of the bags back in, but I gave up before I succeeded. I do have some arthritis in my hands and my grip is not that strong, but I do feel the design could be changed to make the process a lot easier, such as making the top a flap so that one could just flip the flap up and grab the top of the bag. I believe this company does make a different set which has loops on the ends of the bags so they can just be pulled out, but that set did not have the weights I wanted.I also worried because the Velcro was so strong I wondered if I would be able to pull it apart. Once I got it open the first time, it seemed like it got a bit easier to pull apart. Once you put these on, you will have no worries that they will come off before you take them off.I obviously am not the strongest person — hence the acquisition of exercise equipment to try to improve — but I do think the design could be changed just slightly to make the product more user friendly. I chose these to be able to change the weights, but I doubt if I ever will.

    Pockets are a tight fit, great while in use as the weights won’t shift at all. But, a bit difficult – for me – to remove and replace. But, I’m old and arthritic, it wasn’t a problem for my husband (old but not arthritic), he said, tight but not difficult. I found them bands easy to use, comfortable to wear, no rubbing or sagging. Very happy with them.
