The University of Allahabad (AU) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for admission to MA/ MSc Psychology through the Post Graduate Admission Test (PGAT) for the academic session 2024-25.

The University of Allahabad (AU) is a public central university, located at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. It was founded in September 1887, by an act of Parliament, the university is also considered as an Institute of National Importance. The AU has a strong academic history in the nation.
Candidates should have a BSc with 60% or above marks as well as candidates from social Science discipline having Political Science / Education/ Geography / Philosophy/ Sociology / Social Anthropology/Economics as one of the subjects in B.A.-III Examination have passed with 60% or above marks shall be considered as eligible candidates.

Available seat at AU Campus is 55.
Entrance Pattern and Syllabus
The question paper will consist of 150 MCQs carrying 2 marks each, totalling 300 Marks. There will be no negative marking for wrong questions.

Application procedure for M.A. / M.Sc. Psychology:

Application fees:
The registration fee for PGAT-I courses is Rs. 1000 for Unreserved, EWS, and OBC categories, and Rs. 500 for SC/ST/PwD.

Admit card released date: One Week before the Test date

Applicants should ensure that they enter all information in the online application form accurately and finally, as changes won’t be permitted. Applicants will be responsible for any errors they make, not the University.
Only such RTI applications shall be entertained which are received within 60 days from the declaration of final result.
