  1. Well-balanced nutrition
To be honest, I’m not a fan of the flavor and the powder is somewhat chalky going down. However, I’m vegetarian and needed to find a good source of choline and other protein/amino acids to support my growing baby.- Regarding flavor, I’m 7 weeks 5 days along and my food aversions are at an all-time high. I’m pretty sure I still wouldn’t like the flavor even if I weren’t pregnant, but I’m still able to finish the shake, which is impressive given my current experiences with every other food on the planet so far. I’ve been experimenting with different recipes: berry smoothie is decent but you can still taste the powder pretty strongly; frozen chai is better, but not ideal if you’re trying to limit caffeine intake to a minimum; frozen lemonade is the best! I’ve been mixing ice, condensed milk, lemonade, and one scoop of protein powder and not only does the taste become more palatable, but if you’re craving sour this combo just might actually be enjoyable.- Texture is not going to be easy to get past. It’s chalky, no matter what, and goes down like sandy water. I have found that blending the powder into an icy drink, like the lemonade above, helps to ~slightly~ disguise this- Nutrition is the main reason I got this powder, and why it still gets 5 stars despite flavor and texture not being perfect. The powder has some of the highest choline content I’ve found (45% DV). It also compliments the Ritual brand prenatal capsules, which I’ve been taking at the same time. I already analyzed their nutrition labels, and none of the values go over the recommended amounts when taken in combination. All in all, I’m satisfied with the product and will continue using throughout my pregnancy and breastfeeding

  2. Great ingredients for pregnancy and general health
I’ve been using this protein powder for well over a year now. It’s expensive considering it’s only about 15 days worth but I tend to try buy when there are offers. We’ve been trying for a baby so we wanted to ensure our life style habits were good. The protein content on this is great for a meal. I usually combine with spinach, blueberries, banana and almond butter for my breakfast so I don’t really think about the texture or smell. But I do love it. You can make it your own.

  3. Terrible Aftertaste
I love the concept of this so I was really hoping it tasted good. But the texture and flavor are so bad I couldn’t keep it down. Disappointing and really gross.

  4. It’s okay I might switch to a different brand.
It’s got great stuff in it and makes me feel like I have energy after I finish drinking it. The flavor, texture, consistency, and smell is hard to keep down in the first trimester especially day after day. It is filling which is great. This is my fifth-ish bag and I might switch it up to a different brand, the vanilla is boring and I now have it associated with first trimester nausea. Chocolate would be a nice option or even flavorless to add to other things.

  5. Way too sweet
I liked the idea of this, but the I don’t think I’d get this again and I’m unsure if I’ll be able to finish the bag. The fundamental problem is it tastes like that pink bubble gum I had as a kid which is usually a byproduct of too much sugar alcohol or monk fruit. It’s overly sweet, the flavor overpowers even my mint cacao smoothie. I’m unsure if it’s more drinkable on its own since I got it to mix in with my smoothies, but mixed it’s really unpleasant. The price is one thing, but I’d be willing to pay it if drinking it was mediocre instead of saccharine since food sourcing and safety is such an issue in the US.The other issue is the bag doesn’t seal after it’s opened. Shipping gets the powder in the Velcro seal, and so it needs to be placed in another bag for storage.I’ll probably throw this out, but if overly sweet things don’t bother you, this is probably a good match.

  6. No stevia on it! Love it
I always wanted to take a protein shake since pregnant but I was looking for something natural that doesn’t have stevia because I hate the taste of it, this is it!! Lovely creamy shake that makes you full while providing nutritional value that you might need postpartum, it’s kind of pricey but I like it! Has sugarcane so you can add milk or water and it tastes so good

  7. High quality ingredients.
Easy to put in my morning drink. It tastes like a vanilla smoothie. I like the high quality ingredients.

  8. OBSESSED WITH THIS PROTEIN
I’ve tried every “clean protein” out there- most are chalky, not tested for heavy metals or filled with junk (yes even the “clean” ones).I am 100% in love with this. For 1- the choline- for 2- they test for impurities. My kids love this- (I know it says for adults, but I don’t give them anywhere near a scoop)It’s perfect, would be good if you did a vanilla strawberry with freeze dried strawberries or if you guys added a good dose of vitamin C to it.Honestly love the product!
